Keep lookin' out for Danny's CD release party information. It's getting great reviews....... September 17, 2003, COWETA AMERICAN HEADLINERS TO ENTERTAIN EACH EVENING ... Danny Davis and His Detours will close out the 2003 Fall Festival celebration Saturday night from 10:45 p.m. to Midnight. Davis, a native of Broken Arrow, has been playing drums and guitar since the age of 3. He became heavily committed to playing country music in his early 20's and settled in with his band he calls "His Detours." Danny Davis and His Detours has opened for many major acts including Gary Allan, Joe Diffee, Doug Stone, Ricky Lynn Gregg and Pake McEntire. The band plays a wide assortment of country hits from some of the top names in country music. The band has a repertoire of original music as well. Earlier this month the band was in Nashville, Tenn. recording their new album. The album was produced by Curt Ryle. All country music fans are invited to come to downtown Coweta Saturday night to catch Danny Davis and His Detours in concert. The street will be open for dancing. August 15, 2003 Danny will be heading to Nashville on September 5 to record the new album. But don't worry, there are plenty of chances to catch Danny on-stage before he makes his pilgrimage to the mecca of country and western music.
